Last Sunday, I was in Fernandina Beach on a photo shoot. At the end of the day, I couldn't help notice the beautiful sunset over the water and look on in awe as it set. As we drove home, I noticed all the dry and brown grass. I noticed the dead tree leaves. The beauty of the sea is timeless and is not troubled by the changes of seasons. It is amazing how some features of the earth are beautiful year round while others die off and renew. Later, as I looked through the shots from the day, I came upon this shot....
"The heavens proclaim the glory of God.
The skies display his craftmanship.
Day after day they continue to speak;
night after night they make him known.
They speak without a sound or word;
their voice is never heard.
Yet their message has gone throughout the earth,
and their words to all the world.
God has made a home in the heavens for the sun.
It bursts forth like a radiant bridegroom after his wedding.
It rejoices like a great athlete eager to run the race.
The sun rises at one end of the heavens
and follows its course to the other end.
Nothing can hide from its heat."
Psalm 19:1-6

Sherri-Capturing the ring was an accident. I was adjusting my settings to capture the rays which I did get but for some reason, I loved this one. Thank you so much for your sweet comment!

Beautiful, Ginger! I love the passage from Psalms you chose to add perspective. Wow!
Thanks Lyndsay! I always love sun shots!
Katie-Back in January, I started reading the Bible in a year and immediately thought of a part of this passage when I saw the shot during editing. I loved capturing the ring around the sun instead of the typical sun rays. Gods creations are always stunning!
Awww that's such a cool analogy!
