Our local Pictage User Group (P.U.G.) is getting off to a great start! In December, Scarlett hosted a fun holiday party. During the party, we talked a bit about the January meeting and we came up with the idea of a night shoot. We met at Cafe Carmon, ate dinner and talked about Pictage. We couldn't leave before having dessert, of course! I tried the white chocolate caramel cake. Yum! Then we ventured outside.
It had been a pretty chilly and dreary day. On the drive to Jacksonville, I noticed a fog settling in and wondered if we would even be able to shoot at all. When we hit the streets of San Marco for the shoot, the fog lent itself to create quite a few unique and moody shots. We were so blessed to have Cassandra of Flaire Weddings and Events and her husband John as our models for the shoot. They are such a nice couple and they were so great to put up with so many of us snapping away and posing them all night. We had a great time chatting with so many amazing people who turned out for the meeting. Despite a malfunction and being unable to use my flash for the shoot, I was able to get a few shots and here are a few of my favorites.
I love how the fog adds to the moodiness of the street shot
I love how much they were into each other for these shots!
Of course, I had to get a shot of the shoes!
Thank you Cassie and John! It was great to meet both of you!
