I am a full-time mom, wife and animal lover. I am a part-time student and a part-time aspiring photographer. I am also a part-time financial director during the week. Mix all that with occasional lunches and other get-togethers with my girl-friends and you could say I stay pretty busy. Lately, I have also been a second shooter for a local fellow photographer, I have been to Atlanta for a Southern Weddings launch party, I have been to Las Vegas for the annual WPPI conference. I even managed to hang with the girls today for lunch and a shoot in downtown Jax that the very sweet and stylish Lyndsay put together (more on that soon). I am also having lunch tomorrow with another aspiring photographer and friend, Lisa. Had enough? Well put on your fuzziest slippers and brew a pot of tea because I am just getting started! I have so many ideas swirling in my head right now about shooting, my goals, my business, my personal life and so much more that I feel like I can't possibly write it all down on paper fast enough before I've had yet another idea. When I got home from WPPI, I had so much info in my head (and in my suitcase) from the trade show and I had met so many fantastic photographers that I had honestly been feeling totally overwhelmed and not quite sure what to do with it all. On my way home from lunch with the girls earlier today, it hit me. I realized just how to use what I have learned and how to use my ideas. I am ready for change. I am ready to move forward. I am ready to rid my life of all things negative and focus on all things positive. All the time. I am totally and thoroughly excited about life, business, being in love and about just being simple little me! I am so blessed to have all of you right beside me through it all. Whether you are a blog reader that I have never even met, a co-worker, a friend, a fellow photographer, or a family member, you have blessed and inspired me. You have been a part of my growth on so many levels. Thank you! I am excited about some upcoming changes and I hope you will leave me a comment or two and let me know what you think when you notice them. Until then, I wanted to post a photo of Jackie (one of my fab roomies in Vegas) and I at WPPI. Such a fun time!
