Jon and I decided to stay home this year to celebrate New Years Eve with the pups. Earlier that day I picked up the premier issue of Southern Weddings at our local Target. We mixed up a bellini or two and I settled in to enjoy the glossy and vibrant pages of the gorgeous new magazine and then Bubba decided to try and sneak a sip! Jon snapped this picture of him and I loved it so much that I put it on my Twitter and Facebook profiles later that night. Yesterday, I got a Twitter from Laura at Southern Weddings letting me know that she saw the picture and that the magazine was running a contest for readers to enter. I submitted the pic of Bubba and I received a message that they are putting the entries on their website for the viewers to vote on. The prize is a cute little video camera called a Flip. I have been wanting a video camera so I am really praying that we win!! Please go to their website and vote for #13! It only takes a minute and I would be so grateful! Thank you so much!
More on the magazine.....I love weddings and photography and I am definitely a Southern gal so I was so excited to find the premier issue so quickly. The SW staff did an amazing job putting together a fabulous and interesting issue. The articles are super relevant and definitely full of visual interest. I loved how the details are old favorites with a fresh and modern twist. Great job SW staff....I am hooked!
